It’s the middle of another beautiful Maine summer, and we’ve been so busy with adventures that we haven’t stopped for a minute – there’s just so much to do and see. Luckily, once a year an event comes along that helps us pause and express our gratitude for the natural environment that makes it all possible. Jam packed with activities and hosted by our friends at L.L. Bean, the annual Life Happens Outside Festival 2018 brings us together to celebrate and get outdoors.
The festival is presented by Teens to Trails, and we love their mission to bring outdoor access to teens across the state through their support of high school Outing Clubs. T3 believes outdoor experiences are key to the health and well-being of youths, so they help create and sustain Outing Clubs all over Maine.
Building healthy and sustainable habits is something we live for, so we’re stoked to join T3 for a weekend of hiking, climbing, SUP-ing and snacking. We’re bringing the bars, they’re bringing the boards.
Redd is the perfect bar for a life lived outside: with superfoods, clean and digestible protein, and all-natural, non-GMO ingredients, you can feel good about how you’re fueling your outdoor fix. Redd is insanely practical, but it’s also delicious – because we don’t believe in snack sacrifices. Being outdoors should be fun and easy, including what you eat while you’re out there.
We can’t wait to bring Redd to L.L. Bean for this fun-filled and free weekend. We’ve got plenty of bars to share, and nothing feels better than supporting an organization with a mission we can get behind. Join us and T3 at L.L. Bean in Freeport on August 17th-19th, and if you find yourself on one of the sponsored outings, use the hashtag #wildredd to share your adventures with us!
